How do I secure my wedding date?
After you have toured the Sugar Barn and selected your date, we require a $1,000 deposit.
Do we have to choose vendors from your preferred vendor list?
To ensure a flawless experience we highly recommend that you choose from our preferred vendors who are part of our team. These professionals have received stellar reviews from previous families and are familiar with the location and working with each other. We do have an open vendor policy if you already have a favorite professional who is not part of our team.
How can I plan my rehearsal?
You may schedule your rehearsal date a day or two before the wedding at the Sugar Barn, between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM.
Do you require a wedding planner?
Yes, our venue rental does require a professional event planner to ensure everything runs smoothly. We also offer a wedding planner service for an additional fee.
Do you require event insurance?
Yes, insurance is required and can be purchased through our 3rd party insurance company we can refer you to.
Do you charge a cleanup fee?
No, the fee is included in your venue rental and your security deposit is returned after the event has been cleared of all belongings and cleaned.
Do you offer overnight accommodations?
Yes, we offer a honeymoon cottage nearby, along with many others in the area. We also have a selection of hotels nearby which we have partnerships with that you may block rooms with at no additional cost.
Do you offer transportation?
Yes, we can refer several options to transport people from out of the area to the Sugar Barn and hotels. Vintage cars and even a helicopter departure from our front lawn are also available.
Do you charge credit card processing fees?
Yes, we charge a 3% CC fee, but we encourage checks, or Zelle payments without charging a fee.
Are you pet friendly?
Yes, you are welcome to have your dog be part of your wedding day where they are permitted at the ceremony and under professional supervision. No pets are allowed inside the venue buildings and they must leave after the ceremony.
Do you host other types of events other than weddings?
Yes, we host all types of events from holiday parties to showers, fundraisers, photo sessions, music, and corporate events. We are here to host all of your special events so feel free to contact us for pricing and scheduling for your specific needs.
